The Beginning of Our Franchise

Yentafo Kruengsonge by A. Mallika was established in 1999 in Soi Ratchada Niwet near the Meng Jai intersection before expanding to serve 25 locations currently.

In 2001, Yentafo Kruengsonge developed a franchising system by enhancing its services as well as giving it a unique look.  The chain has a predominantly red design to connote the yentafo color and the Thai identity, and the noodles are served in the store’s iconic bowl of ginormous proportions with the chicken design. However, the true essence of the shop remains in the noodles, with only the wide rice noodle as the sole option, and the intense taste of the soup. Yentafo Kruengsonge also offers over 40 tasteful quick Thai rice dishes and Thai desserts.

Franchisee Rights & Privileges

1. Trademark Rights Franchisees are granted the right to use the name and trademark of Mallika Interfood’s Yentafo Krueng Song by Ajarn Mallika throughout the franchise agreement period.
2. Restaurant Construction & Design Franchisees are entitled to use the restaurant construction and design standards of Yentafo Krueng Song to ensure consistency with the brand image and operational standards.
3. Cashier & POS System A POS (Point of Sale) and cashier management system is provided to facilitate smooth and efficient business operations.
4. Training Program Comprehensive training is provided to ensure staff readiness in all operational areas, including sales, customer service, food preparation, and restaurant management. The company provides a dedicated training center where franchisees and staff can gain hands-on experience in a real operating environment. Practical training typically requires at least one month. Before the grand opening, our training team will assist with on-site restaurant setup to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
5. Business Consultation & Support The company provides ongoing consultation and professional guidance on all essential aspects of franchise operations promptly.
6. Operations Manual Franchisees will receive a detailed operations manual as a guideline to ensure that all business practices meet the company’s operational standards.
7. Store Auditing & Quality Control The company will assign auditors to inspect and evaluate ingredient storage quality and overall operational standards across all aspects of restaurant management. Recommendations and corrective guidance will also be provided to maintain compliance with company standards.

Franchisee Qualifications

1. Applicants must be an individual or a juristic entity registered in Thailand. In the case of individual applicants, they must register a company/entity before signing the franchise agreement upon being granted franchise rights by Mallika Franchise Co., Ltd.
2. Applicants must possess sufficient financial readiness for the investment.

Applicants must be able to attend and complete the required management training program.
4. Applicants must strictly comply with the rules, conditions, and operational standards of the franchise system.
5. Applicants should have a genuine passion for business operations and entrepreneurship.
6. Applicants must be able to fully dedicate their time and effort to managing the restaurant in accordance with the standards set by Mallika Franchise Co., Ltd.
7.
Applicants should possess a strong service mind and a customer-oriented attitude.
8. Applicants must be prepared with sufficient personnel to support restaurant operations and management.
9. Applicants should have a positive attitude and a clear understanding of operating a business under a franchise system.

Application Process

1. Complete the franchise application form and submit it to bd@mallika.co.th
2. Mallika Franchise Co., Ltd. will evaluate and select a suitable location by assigning a professional team to conduct a site survey and location analysis.

*Recommended Space Requirements*
– Self-Service Model: 45-80 sq.m.
– Full-Service Model: 120-180 sq.m.

3. The company will notify the applicant of the evaluation results. If the location assessment is approved, Mallika Franchise Co., Ltd. will arrange an interview with the company’s management committee.
4. Following the interview, the company will notify the applicant of the franchise approval result within 14 days.
5. If the application is approved, the investor will be invited to sign the franchise agreement at the company’s headquarters and proceed with the franchise fee payment.
6. The restaurant opening process will then begin, including: Store design / Construction / Staff training

Remarks:
– The investor is responsible for all rental expenses related to the business premises. Investors must not enter into any lease or reservation agreement for the location until official franchise approval has been granted. If the investor fails to comply with the company’s conditions, the company reserves the right to decline responsibility for any damages or losses incurred.
– The investor shall be fully responsible for all expenses related to site surveys and location assessments.

  • Full-Service Model: 120-180 sq.m.

Utility System Requirements

  • Electricity: 100 Amp, 3-Phase
  • Water Supply Pipe: 1 inch (4 or 6 hun)
  • Drainage Pipe: 4 inches

Construction & Interior Costs

1. Kitchen Construction (Stainless Steel Area)
   – The kitchen area should occupy approximately 35-40% of the total space
(around 20-30 sq.m.)
   – Estimated cost: 50,000 THB/sq.m.
2. Restaurant Interior Decoration
   – Estimated cost: 16,000 THB/sq.m.
3. Signage & Marketing Materials
   – Estimated cost: 400,000 THB/sq.m.

Opening Equipment Costs

1. Restaurant Equipment & Electrical Appliances
   – Estimated cost: 300,000 THB/sq.m.
     (The final cost depends on restaurant size)
2. IT Equipment & POS System License
   – Estimated cost: 200,000 THB/sq.m.

Franchise Fee & Contract Term

1. Franchise Opening Fee: 600,000 THB
(Inclusive of store setup support, staff training before opening, and site inspection services)
2. Franchise Agreement Term: 6 Years

 

Additional Fees

1. Royalty Fee: 4% of monthly revenue
2. Marketing Fee: 2% of monthly revenue
